Earlier, I asked if you could help us get to $50,000 in our spring webathon by the end of Tuesday. I figured I’d be refreshing our donation page in the run-up to midnight during breaks in the Yankees late game, wondering if we’d make it. Lo and behold, the greatest community of readers on earth came through, and just hours later, we have already exceeded that threshold. We are grateful for such an incredible response. This has really helped us maintain momentum as the webathon enters its second week.

But we’re not done yet.
