I’ll be playing a part in the Abraham Lincoln Institute’s upcoming and annual symposium on the late, great Civil War president.

Ford’s Theatre in Washington will host the forum this Saturday. There will be book signings and live music. Tickets are free, but space is limited. Doors open at 8 a.m. Click here for info on tickets and more.

The symposium features a number of great panels; mine will concern democracy’s past, present, and future. I’ll be speaking alongside Jane Kamensky, in a conversation moderated by Judy Woodruff.

Hope to see you there.
