An Unplanned Pregnancy Is Never the End of the Story

Nineteen-year-old Gwyn Andrews found herself in a situation that science and medicine would deem, statistically, highly unlikely. Despite her taking the conventional precautions, Andrews — then a freshman on the basketball team — was pregnant.

But an unplanned pregnancy is never the end of the story, regardless of the left's widespread deception imposed upon young women. It certainly wasn’t for Gwyn Andrews.

“The Lord now will forever consider you a mother,” a classmate, who had entered her life just days before Andrews saw the positive test, told her. The providence-infused comment resonated within Andrews, a devout Christian, as she contemplated taking the abortion pill.

Fast-forward, and Andrews is now an advocate for choosing life, an ambassador for open adoption (the path she chose), and the “birth mom” of a young girl who can call her anytime as she grows up with the worldview that she is wanted, chosen, and loved.
